Hola amigos de la comunidad de Música, espero que se encuentren empezando una buena semana ✨. Repasando un poco por los cantantes y estilos de música que más disfruto no puedo dejar de recordar un album que en su momento fue el bum para las fans de Justin Bieber. Journals fue el titulo que escogió para este album musical que contó con varias canciones que lograron destacar del álbum y que hicieron aún más relevante la carrera de Justin. No todo ha sido cuesta arriba durante el trayecto como fanática, viendo este tipo de música que el solía hacer me recuerda porque me gustaba tanto en mi adolescencia. Así que los invito a leer un poco sobre mi opinión de Journals 💫.
Hello friends of the Music community, I hope you are starting off a good week ✨. Going through a little bit through the singers and styles of music that I enjoy the most I can't help but remember an album that at the time was the boom for Justin Bieber fans. Journals was the title he chose for this musical album that featured several songs that stood out from the album and made Justin's career even more relevant. It hasn't all been uphill during my journey as a fan, seeing this kind of music that he used to make reminds me why I loved it so much in my teenage years. So I invite you to read a bit about my opinion of Journals 💫.
Justin se ha destacado por tener una voz melodiosa aunque al inicio de su carrera fue bastante criticado por su forma de cantar y de ser en general. La mayoría de personas que decían que no les gustaba su música siento que después pudieron apreciar la madurez en sus otros proyectos y le dieron una oportunidad a sus letras que para mí son bastante significativas y que más que hablar sobre el amor en la adolescencia, también nos recuerda el propósito que cada uno de nosotros tiene en este mundo y la manera en la que el usó su voz para cantar sin ningún temor hizo que llegara más lejos de lo que alguna vez pensó.
Justin has stood out for having a melodious voice although at the beginning of his career he was quite criticized for his way of singing and being in general. Most people who said they didn't like his music I feel that later they were able to appreciate the maturity in his other projects and gave a chance to his lyrics that for me are quite meaningful and that more than talking about love in adolescence, also reminds us of the purpose that each of us has in this world and the way he used his voice to sing without any fear made him go further than he ever thought.
Journals es un álbum bastante diferente sobre lo que venía trabajando Justin en sus anteriores álbumes como My World o Believe con los cuales ganó la fama que posee hasta ahora. Este álbum es de género R&B y contiene también parte del Pop que ya habiamos escuchado en su música, por lo que tiene canciones con letras bastante sensuales y con mensajes directos sobre el amor, el desamor y también su forma de ver las relaciones amorosas con las cuales no tuvo mucho éxito hasta casarse. Es un álbum de los mejores que tiene Justin, tiene canciones con muy buen ritmo y también unos videos musicales increíbles, para mí fue el album que más escuché cuando tenía unos dieciséis años y que marcó mi etapa como adolescente también 🫠💘
Journals is an album quite different from what Justin was working on in his previous albums like My World or Believe with which he gained the fame he has until now. This album is of genre R&B and also contains part of the Pop that we had already heard in his music, so it has songs with quite sensual lyrics and with direct messages about love, heartbreak and also his way of seeing love relationships with which he did not have much success until he got married. It is one of the best albums Justin has, it has songs with very good rhythm and also some incredible music videos, for me it was the album I listened to the most when I was about sixteen years old and that marked my stage as a teenager too 🫠💘.
Entre las canciones que más me gustaron, la primera sería Swap It Out, está canción es una clara demostración de el sentimiento de querer regresar con la persona que ama pero que sabe que por su misma actitud perdió. Se sabe que la mayoría de canciones de esa época eran para su ex Selena Gomez, pero está canción aunque no logró que siguieran juntos si que se siente la emoción y el sonido tan único con el que demuestra que su voz tiene más que decir y que generó en muchos una emoción indescriptible, recuerdo que amé tanto está canción que la escuchaba a diario, es muy sensual y a la vez te hace sentir con el corazón roto.
Among the songs that I liked the most, the first one would be Swap It Out, this song is a clear demonstration of the feeling of wanting to return to the person he loves but he knows that because of his own attitude he lost. It is known that most songs of that time were for his ex Selena Gomez, but this song although it did not get them to stay together if you feel the emotion and the unique sound with which he shows that his voice has more to say and that generated in many an indescribable emotion, I remember that I loved this song so much that I listened to it daily, it is very sensual and at the same time makes you feel heartbroken.
Si hablamos de corazones rotos, Justin lo tenía bastante mal y fue cuando se inspiro en escribir Heartbreaker que detalla cómo estuvo en una relación en la que sintió que literalmente rompieron su corazón. Es una canción que tiene una letra también bastante explícita y que repetidamente con un coro muy pegadizo dice Don't tell me... You're my heartbreaker..., incluso en la canción hay una parte que es básicamente de él como si estuviera conversando por teléfono con esa persona que tanto quería y demostrando su lado más vulnerable. Es una canción de un rompecorazones hacia una mujer que le rompió el corazón según él 🙃🤭.
If we're talking about heartbreak, Justin had it pretty bad and that's when he was inspired to write Heartbreaker which details how he was in a relationship where he felt his heart was literally broken. It's a song that has lyrics that are also quite explicit and repeatedly with a very catchy chorus that says Don't tell me.... You're my heartbreaker..., even in the song there is a part that is basically him talking on the phone with that person he loved so much and showing his most vulnerable side. It's a heartbreaker song towards a woman who broke his heart according to him 🙃🤭.
Y no puedo dejar de mencionar One Life, está canción está en mi top tres de mis favoritas del álbum porque tiene una sensación íntima de estar escuchando a un joven abrirse ante sus fans y la persona que ama de una manera muy personal, directamente dice que nada en la vida será igual si no está con esa chica. Se nota mucho la pasión con la que cantó esta canción y que hizo que fuera de las favoritas de muchos de los que hemos escuchado su música. Para mí es tremendo tema porque combina una buena letra con un sonido tan icónico como lo es el R&B y que le queda muy bien a mi parecer para su tipo de voz.
And I can't fail to mention One Life, this song is in my top three favorites of the album because it has an intimate feeling of listening to a young man open up to his fans and the person he loves in a very personal way, he directly says that nothing in life will be the same if he is not with that girl. You can really feel the passion with which he sang this song and that made it one of the favorites of many of us who have listened to his music. For me it is a tremendous song because it combines good lyrics with a sound as iconic as R&B and that suits him very well in my opinion for his type of voice.
Recuerdo que cada lunes salía una nueva canción y que en esos tiempos (2013) era muy utilizada la red social X o antiguamente Twitter, donde las fans esperábamos ver la nueva canción y escucharla en cualquier plataforma. De hecho este álbum no salió en físico pero algunos fans lo recrearon con un CD donde grabaron las canciones y colocaron la portada y la parte trasera del álbum, que tenía un icono por canción diferenciando a cada una por el famoso color morado 💜. Eran buenos tiempos donde había mucha interacción por parte de Justin con la música.
I remember that every Monday a new song came out and that in those times (2013) was very used the social network X or formerly Twitter, where we fans were waiting to see the new song and listen to it on any platform. In fact this album didn't come out in physical but some fans recreated it with a CD where they recorded the songs and placed the cover and the back of the album, which had an icon per song differentiating each one by the famous purple color 💜. Those were good times where there was a lot of interaction on Justin's part with the music.
Hoy en día sigo escuchando sus antiguos álbumes como Believe y Purpose que me parecen también increíbles con sus diferentes estilos, aunque el tiempo ha pasado lo que a uno tanto le gusta es difícil de olvidar así que cada vez que puedo vuelvo a escuchar alguna de sus canciones y a sentirme joven de nuevo jaja 🤭. Ser parte de esa generación que nos gustó tanto su música y verlo hoy en día ya casado y con una familia me genera mucha felicidad y a la vez agradecimiento por haber vivido esos tiempos de forma en que la música fuera el mejor lugar al cual acudir cuando el mundo se sentía oscuro. Les recomiendo escuchar más de sus canciones de este álbum cómo All Bad, Change Me, Hold Tight entre otras que incluye el álbum y me cuentan que les pareció 💜.
Nowadays I still listen to his old albums like Believe and Purpose which I think are also incredible with their different styles, although time has passed what one likes so much is hard to forget so every time I can I go back to listen to some of his songs and feel young again haha 🤭. Being part of that generation that liked his music so much and seeing him today already married and with a family makes me very happy and at the same time thankful for having lived those times when music was the best place to go to when the world felt dark. I recommend you to listen to more of his songs from this album like All Bad, Change Me, Hold Tight among others included in the album and let me know what you thought 💜.
