😁
Let's start by walking a little on this track that you've already seen... if you know me, of course.
I was wearing my single earbud in my right ear. I don't know if I should pay attention to the things I see on Instagram sometimes, but the day before yesterday there was a guy saying that these devices were frying our brains. It's like holding a microwave near your brain, he said... 😕
I still have time to share three songs in this challenge, right ? It's 10:36 Cuban time as I type this.
I'm not rambling. I mentioned the earphone thing because I found a party playlist on Spotify, and that was motivating for what I was doing... walking, running, more walking and then, a little bit of cycling (I went to buy sunscreen. Mine ran out).
On the athletics track of the Cerro Pelado High Performance Sports School
Hypnotized.
I heard this song while running along that track and felt like I really identified with it... sometimes this city suffocates me. I don't know which window to look out of, and I just hope to reach a safe place... a hug, maybe.

Anyway, for my language practice with music, it seemed appropriate. I always listen to a lot of music, but today I focused more on this song and learned something: the DJ and remixer is German, contemporary of mine, and SATG (Sophie And The Giants) is a musical group from Sheffield, UK, founded in 2015. I definitely understand British people more when they speak English.
I walked to the high-performance sports school and, of course, returned home afterward. That complete journey adds up to about 4 and a half kilometers or so. But before heading home, I visited a friend, her husband, and their daughter who live nearby. Maybe, if you know me, you know who I'm talking about... ;) I always find love and lots of laughter there.
The second song comes with Bob's smile.
This mixture comes from the Netherlands... yeeeep, I wanna love you! 😄
Dutch electronic music producer Bolier has been making waves on the international scene for several years. Known for his organic, deep, pop-influenced sound, he has collaborated with artists such as Redondo, She Keeps Bees, Bitter's Kiss, and Natalie Peris. In 2016, he surprised everyone with an official collaboration with Bob Marley & The Wailers, reworking their song "Is This Love" with LVNDSCAPE. The song was a worldwide hit and has over 100 million streams on Spotify. Source
Everyone knows the giant Bob Marley and this song, remixed like this, felt rejuvenated, my brain was already popping like popcorn, due to the microwave effect, remember.
To be honest, running wasn't easy. I did the warm-up exercises beforehand, but it's not the same as cycling. I don't think I've run on a track in years. I only did two laps... I'll get over that.
And then it's time for the third song of this late #ttt (Three Tune Tuesday).
Bring me higher love, loveBring me higher love
Think about it, there must be a higher love
Down in the heart or hidden in the stars aboveWithout it, life is wasted time...
😄
For the ladies who want eye candy 🤣, I've brought Kygo, a Norwegian DJ.
Do you know him?
The same thing happened to him as to me: he was born in one country (Singapore) and became a citizen of another (Norway). Me? Ukraine - Cuba Nothing, one more fact.
And do you know the story of this mix?
Well, this was Whitney Houston's first posthumous hit, entering the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

I don’t know who brought my name up, but they decided to give me the opportunity to try to work around it. I remember I got it in my inbox and I just loved it. When I listened to it, I thought it was something I could really work with. I ran to my studio and started producing around the vocals. With “Sexual Healing” and this Whitney Houston song, you have to be very respectful. I remember when I remixed “Sexual Healing,” I was very skeptical about actually doing it. You shouldn’t try to fix perfection. The song is obviously perfect the way it is. It’s such a classic song and so many people have such a deep connection with it. But a lot of my fans were asking me if I could try, and one day I decided to do it. So (with “Higher Love”), I wanted to be respectful of the original song while still adding my touches and letting her vocals shine. She has those ad-libs that she does that no one else does, so I wanted to get that in there.
Oops... I knew I wouldn't finish writing this before tomorrow, or rather today... it's already April 23rd. It's a day for walks and I have an appointment with my dentist. Terrible.
😟
Ahhhh... no,😅 we're not going to suffer from now on. This is the sunscreen I bought.
Let's give Avicii a chance... I love that beat, but the song is very serious.
Wake Me Up.
Hope I get the chance to travel the worldBut I don't have any plans
Wish that I could stay forever this young
Not afraid to close my eyes
Life's a game made for everyone
And love is a prize
So wake me up when it's all over
See you another Tuesday... (sorry, everything is so slow here, I always seem to be out of time) 🙂
