Time to do a little bit of escaping to the beach with today's upload as we head to Ostseekuste on the north coast of Germany. Although the picture I took for the cover photo is from the beautifully white beaches of Whitsunday Islands in Australia.
I visited these amazing sands when I traveled to Australia in 2015 which feels like a long time ago now. The sand was so fine that some members of the group I traveled with took some of their silver jewelry and polished it whilst they were there!
It's a long way to get your silverware polished I have to say! Considering the couple were from Los Angeles in USA, I'm sure it would have been cheaper to just get a local silversmith to do it for them!
However, it's pretty cool to say that you've polished your jewelry yourself via sand in Australia lol!
With regards to the tune, Brukah is a German producer who actually lives on the north coast and was inspired by his upbringing there to make this one. There were a few of us who did a remix but I can't seem to find that EP, unless I'm getting confused with something else, which is easily done!
I enjoyed hearing the seagulls and sea wave sound effects in the original, with the lovely piano chords he put in. As I can't find the original on Soundcloud, I think that tune has long gone for good sadly, nonetheless, my remix is still up if you want to get a free download :)
Enjoy
Nicky
