Listening back to this intro when a local radio station played my tune called Moving On brings a smile to my face every time.
A few years back, I submitted a (now unreleased) track to Marlow FM as they have a New Music Discovery section and the DJ at the time was Louise Carron Harris, or as I called her, the Lounicorn.
As a timid lad back then, I asked if they accepted Drum & Bass tunes and she was all over it saying she absolutely loves the genre. I was in luck!
Happy days then!
I had no expectations of having my tune played out but I listened in to a few shows and out of nowhere, up pops an intro that I recognise... helloooooo!

I was beaming from ear to ear when she played it and I just love her reaction at the beginning and the end. In fact, I think she may have played this one out twice on the show she loved it that much!
The tune itself lives up to its name.
At the end of 2014, I knew I was coming to the end of my contract at a job I really didn't enjoy, doing a PhD I didn't enjoy, felt unsafe but just had to keep going with it until the end
However, I also knew that I was going travelling on the trip of a lifetime around USA for a few weeks, visiting national parks and hiking around.
So if I could package that excitement of leaving a situation I was totally unhappy with to go travelling, this track hits the mark every time. Pure joy vibes in this one!
The picture itself was taken when I was hiking up Mount Snowdon in Wales. I had no idea my friend was taking the picture as I was stopping for a moment to catch my breath and admiring the view.
About a second or two later, I turned around and there was the cameraman, thankfully, he got my good side lol.
Where this tune is now is still in the back locker somewhere, unreleased as I pulled my music from the Allowance Records label mentioned by the DJ. I'll look to getting it released again at some point, just need to update all the artwork for these older tunes so you'll have to put up with that photo for now!
Hope you enjoy this one folks!
