Speaking of heavyweights and celebrations, today's music dnb thriller to share is my remix of 
These two have been on a tear with their music productions ever since they released the original and it was an honour to be a part of the early days with this remix. The original can be found below:
The atmosphere these guys create from the off with that rapid and distorted bass, then the added drama in the lyrics from Bonnie and Wav-Dr just compelled me to remix it. I just loved everything about it, including the half time drum beat so had to keep as much as I could with the remix.
I'm usually extremely slow when it comes to making tunes and finishing them off but these two are so inspiring and as I was working on the remix, everything just fell in to place in the space of a couple of days.
The inspiration for the vibe of the remix was actually from a classic garage tune called "A Little Bit of Luck" from DJ Luck and MC Neat back in the day. The strings in the Oracles remix of that track are what I had in my mind with this one and you can hear the chords I used in certain parts of the track as Bonnie sings.
Other than that, I added some piano, a sub bass to roll through under the pulsing sawer synth, the high energy drum pattern and some additional fx.
