Hello everyone, today I want to share with you my new musical composition - "Rain".
Track with live instruments and interspersed with glitch music. In fact, this is experimental music with elements of downtempo and trip-hop sound and idm. If you have ever heard such artists as Bonobo, Hol Baumann, Amon Tobin, then most likely you will be familiar with this sound. Most of this track was recorded live by me in Ableton, I used my Akai APC 20 midi controller for recording. I use it to create my music in Ableton regularly, it's an old but handy machine for creating beats and performances. The composition turned out to be sad, and apparently that's why it's raining outside my window now.
The piano I made on KeyZone Classic used the Yamaha presset, as I said in some of the previous posts, this is a free to use plug-in from the developers that sounds pretty good and with the right settings you can achieve an excellent result close to live piano sound. I took the glitch sounds from the 99Sounds Glitch/IDM pack. The biggest part of the work on the track was just creating a rhythmic pattern, I recorded it step by step and developed it with percussion and other musical elements. On the EQ, I have processing effects, as well as special effects for creating volume on drums and saxophone. I wanted to record vocals for this composition, but unfortunately, at the moment I have not found a person who could sing along with this track, and I hope that such a person will appear in the future and we will make a version with vocals and will be able to reveal the meaning of this musical composition even more. I will really look forward to your feedback, it is important and motivates me to create new music, which I will share with you. Thank you for your attention and see you soon!
