Howdy music creators!
Wave your hand, because I am here again, as I promised earlier, I will tell and show you free synthesizers and modules for creating your music from the developers of music software. Before starting, I want to say that all the things that we will talk about today are made by musicians for musicians. It is very important!
- And so the list opens at once with three synthesizers from the eminent developer U-HE, on whose account there are already more than a dozen of synthesizers loved by many, such as Diva, Uley and others. plug-ins and processing modules, effectors and many other useful musical developments that will come in handy in your studio when creating music.
Tripple Cheese
Not so long ago, the company U-he updated the free plugin Tripple Cheese, adding new filters to it and delighting the musicians with a new interface. Tripple Cheese is a unique plug-in that I often use in my compositions, this synthesizer generates very cool and unique sounds, it uses three comb filter modules, each module can be formed with the inclusion in the composition and gives an interesting sound at the output, as well there are two more built-in ADSR / RR envelopes with their own multi-wavelength LFO. And the cherry on top is VCA with amplitude modulation and panning. In addition, Triple Cheese has a large number of built-in effects, including chorus, flanger, phaser, delay or reverb. They include an extra LFO for extra movement and warmth that go well with the synth.
The new graphical interface is not only pleasing to the eye, but also has other benefits. It skins, like all other U-he plugins, introduces a new easy-to-manage pre-installed browser. Everything is clear and well organized. No comparison to the old browser. You have 254 live game presets, but there are hundreds more online. Also new is full support for the new MTS-ESP developed by ODDsound and Aphex Twin.
Zebralette
Next in line is the Zebralette synthesizer. One of the discoveries for me, as I often used the Zebra2 plugin and had no idea that U-he released this synthesizer. Zebralette is an easy-to-use, highly functional synthesizer with a ton of all sorts of presets and built-in effects for sound processing. 24 including filter, sync, spread, phase distortion and more Polyphonic (up to 16 voices), monophonic and legato modes. Stereo VCA with panning and volume modulation VCA generator sets with adjustable stereo width: single, double, quadruple and eleven modes ADSR envelope with fall / rise (sustain slope) and speed controls. Modulation options, mod wheel, speed, pressure, breath, key follow, gate, and more. 2 LFOs: one global, one per voice 32-stage MSEG (multi-stage envelope generator), also the synthesizer has 300 factory presets, Scalable interface from 70% to 200%, which is also very pleasing and expands the possibilities in writing music.
With Zebralette, you have everything you need to create amazingly complex sounds.
Podolski
Podolski is far from a new synthesizer that was announced in 2005, and even though this veteran sound design is a little from the past, it does not prevent it from being good, practical and easy to use. As they say - a synthesizer that has been tested by time. Podolski is a free, simple and effective virtual analog synthesizer with effective use, I believe that the fact that it is simple and easy to use and its beauty, it does not prevent you from creating cool vintage sounds on it. This is also a synthesizer similar to Zebra 2 and FilterscapeVA. Podolski's specialty is the Click parameter (emphasizes the attack of the filter) and his ability to smoothly transform between three waveforms (WaveWarp). For this current version, the factory library has been redesigned, the TUC Toys sound set has been integrated into the main library, all factory presets have been tagged, and Podolski is now NKS-ready. In 2012, Podolski was updated with some new presets from Howard Scarr, underwent a GUI rework (two new skins) and supports a wider range of plugin formats. Also included is a new English manual. I recommend it, as I personally use it myself!
- Next, we'll talk about the brainchild of GitHub - the Surge synthesizer. The list of its sounds and the abundance of settings will impress any musician.
Surge
In my opinion, Surge - is a very powerful synthesizer with a huge number of all kinds of settings and sound modulations. It is quite suitable for creating dance electronic music and will fill your tracks with a rich and rich sound. He has in his library over 2000 factory sounds, in my opinion this is quite a lot in order to create an incredible variety of musical compositions. Two filter banks in 8 different configurations. The feedback loop is available in 7 of these configurations. Available filtering algorithms: Lowpass (12 and 24 dB / octave, each with 3 options), Legacy Ladder Lowpass (6-24 dB / oct), Vintage Ladder Lowpass (2 options, each with and without gain compensation), Highpass (12 and 24 dB / octave each with 3 options), Bandpass (12 and 24 dB / octave each with 3 options), Notch (12 and 24 dB / octave, each with 2 options), Allpass (3 options), Comb (positive and negative), S&H. Open source add-ons to our filter bank contain: K35 and Diode Ladder filter types from Odin 2 synthesizer, 12 and 24 dB / octave multimode filters from OB-Xd, and strange but addicting Cutoff Warp and Resonance Warp filters from Jatin Chowdhury ! Filters can self-oscillate (when excited) and react surprisingly quickly to changes in cutoff frequency. Not impressed yet? Ok, the synthesizer has over 30 built-in effects for sound processing, and it's all completely free! Use it and you will not regret it!
Exakt Lite
Completing our list is the Exakt Lite synthesizer from the developer Sonicbits. Exakt Lite is an intuitive and user friendly FM synthesizer plugin. From the harsh digital and cold sounds known from the FM era to warm and organic sounds, Exakt Lite can create a wide range of sounds. Exakt Lite has got 4 operators which can be arranged in the classic 8 FM algorithms with feedback on operator D. Each operator has got different waveforms such as the basic sine, saw, square and triangle. Additionally, the 8 classic waveforms from the Yamaha TX81Z are emulated. Each operator has got a separate amplitude envelope generator supporting the classic 5 point TX envelopes. These envelopes have been modeled to mimic the TX characteristics.
The plugin UI has been created using vector graphics and supports blur free resizing.
Soon I will create a post with free effects from the developers, we will talk about sound processing, how some plugins work and much more. Stay on this wave! Create music and give it to your listeners! Good luck everyone!
P.S. I also regularly patrol your posts related to music and am always in search of talent and new discoveries for myself, so sooner or later I will come and your post if you make unique and original content, I have never been stingy with rewards for you , you know that! Thank you all and see you again!
