Introduction
Last week, I said I would share three anime songs for this week and today is the day. It's another three tune tuesday hosted by ablaze and I will share three anime songs from the current anime season. Aside from my usual sharing of the song meaning, I will also share how I feel about these animes. I did all opening songs last time so this time I will be doing ending songs!
#1. Tweedia (Blue Star) - Sayaka Yamamoto
The first song is from an anime with a super long name but the English name is An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride. Honestly, I like this anime because it has a nice mix of comedy, action and romance. I recommend watching it if you like this mix of genres.
The meaning of the lyrics in this song really ties together with Nephy, the elf in the anime. The song is about someone having a painful past and after meeting a special person, they started to find their true self. The person is happy and wants to continue being with that person.
#2. Shouted Serenade - LiSA
I believe I shared three songs from LiSA in the past. This is definitely one of her newer songs. Just a recap for those that don't know her, LiSA is a very popular Japanese singer known for singing many anime songs. She's well known for the Demon Slayer and Sword Art Online.
This anime is the third season of The Irregular at Magic High School. If you haven't watched the first or second season, you need to watch it first if not the story may seem confusing. Anyways I like this anime because the main character is OP and badass with almost no emotion.
As for the song, it's super upbeat and powerful. I like the energy from LiSA in this song. Anyways the song is about going towards the future with someone. I think the song is a bit romantic in nature but it's kind of hard to tell with the music and tone. It could be about shouting for love hence shouted serenade. I know there's English lyrics here but even after looking at it, I'm not too confident in the song interpration.
#3. Nobody - OneRepublic
I saved the best for last. This one I think probably surprised a lot of people that watched Kaiju No. 8. I think maybe some people don't even realize the singer from the ending song. I don't think I've heard an American band sing an opening/ending song for the original dubbed Japanese anime. I think it's super cool that OneRepublic got to sing for this anime. If that wasn't good enough, the anime itself is pretty baller. The anime is about kicking kaijuu butt so think godzilla but anime style.
The song is catchy and quite simple. The song is about a person being there for someone. They understand them and will always have their back. This can be interpreted from the lyrics "I'd take the fall, I got you covered when there's no one at all".
Thank You
If you made it to the end, thank you so much for reading and listening. Are you watching any of these animes? Which ending song did you like the best? I'm thinking of doing 3 OneRepublic songs for next week.
Please don't be afraid to share your three songs every Tuesday! Share the music share the love. Also do help out with the leoglossary with sharing music!
