Introduction
Last week, I covered three songs from Worlds for League of Legends for #threetunetuesday playlist hosted by ablaze. Today, I will be sharing some songs that I liked recently. Next week I will do random songs and maybe two weeks from now I will try to find some spooky songs that would fit the Halloween spirit. Usually I make a cover thumbnail but I decided to change it up a bit this time.
#1. Closure - Henry Moodie
Closure is one of Henry Moodie's newest songs. Apparently, Henry is from England and I actually didn't know he existed until I found this song.
I like the lyrics and emotion in this song. The song is about not being able to move on from a past relationship. The guy can't accept that the relationship is over. He can't get closure since he can't find a good reason to accept letting her go. She was perfect because "she never lied, never cheated never hurt him". As for why they broke up, I guess there's times when maybe it's not meant to be. Sometimes there's time or distance that separates a relationship and I guess this song could be sharing about that experience.
#2. Break the Brake - Xdinary Heroes
Break the brake is a song I recently found from Youtube that I thought was interesting. If it wasn't obvious, Xdinary Heroes is a Korean rock band under JYP Entertainment. I loved the instruments in this song so hopefully you can focus on that when you listen to this song.
To be honest, I'm not sure of the meaning for this song. My interpretation of this song is about following a dream or going for a goal. You need to just go for it hence the break the brake. The lyrics mention about being thirsty and hungry. I think this has to do with not being satisfied until the dream or goal is reached. Based on the number of times "I want some more" was said, I think it was trying to tell to keep being hungry keep learning and achieve your goals. I could be totally off on this but this is my interpretation of this song.
#3. See You Soon - Camylio
I felt this was a good song for last. See you soon is a very underrated song. I think it's kind of low profile but somehow the youtube algo helped me discover it. I like the melody in the song and Camylio has great vocals to match! I feel the song is simple and basically talks about a relationship ending. The title of the song is see you soon because if the relationship never ended these were always going to be the words that the couple would say to each other after hanging out.
