#1. Odysee - Scarf!
The first song I chose is Oydsee by Scarf!. I chose the nightcore version because I prefer this version as it's a bit faster than the original. This song is super old and goes all the way back to when I was in middle/highschool. If I'm not wrong it was released in 2008 and you can find the youtube video from 18 years ago here that someone uploaded. I think this was the video where I found this song. If not wrong this video was recommended to me, I'm not sure as it was a long time ago.
There's not really much lyrics for this song and I have quoted it below. I really like how the lyrics are short and simple but at the same time can have a deep meaning which compliments the song. For those that don't know Odysee means like a long journey so I guess this song is about going on a journey to "find the light" as in the lyrics. I also love the beat of the song and that's all there is to it~

#2. Let Me Down Easy - Jane XØ & LöKii
The second song I chose is Let me Down Easy by Jane XØ & LöKii. I don't remember how this song got onto my upbeaet playlist. I must have heard it somewhere and then just added it. If you like this song, you can check out Jane XØ's other songs. There's actually not much about this singer and she disappeared. She had some really great songs so not sure why she stopped singing.
Let me down easy is a song that has lyrics that are very vague so they can be interpreted many ways. For me this song is about a girl obsessed with a guy which I'm inferring from the lyrics "you can say I don't but I know you so well". Unforuntately, the guy isn't interested in her as much as she is, which can be inferred from the lyrics "I see it on your face, the taste it's so bittersweet". Basically the girl just wants him to directly reject her maybe so she doesn't have false hope but she wants to be rejected nicely hence the title "let me down easy". Well this is my interpretation but there are many other possible interpretations as well.
#3. Let It Be Now - Tobu & William Ekh
Finally, the last song I chose is Let It Be Now by Tobu & Williams Ekh. Tobu is aa electronic music producer from Latvia. He's more well known for his songs Higher, Colors, Candyland and Infectious which you may have heard before if you into this genre of music. The current song I'm sharing is a bit more on the down low and not as well known but I do like it. I like all his songs as they have nice interesting melodies.
I like this song because it's super meaningful. The song is basically about it's time to make your dreams come true. Stop waiting or dreaming but take the steps hence "let it be now!". It's time to change your life! Perfect song to listen to do get things done in my opinon.
