Saludos nuevamente, hoy martes 11 de Julio 2023, día en el que regreso para contribuir a la mejor iniciativa musical de todo Hive: El Three Tune Tuesday, y hoy he venido en plan de celebración del cumpleaños de un guitarrista muy especial, como es RICHIE SAMBORA, mejor conocido por ser parte fundamental de la banda de rock Bon Jovi, ya que hoy este señor celebra su 64 cumpleaños.
Greetings again, today Tuesday July 11, 2023, the day I return to contribute to the best musical initiative in all of Hive: Three Tune Tuesday, and today I have come to celebrate the birthday of a very special guitarist, such as RICHIE SAMBORA, better known for being a fundamental part of the rock band Bon Jovi, since today this man celebrates his 64th birthday.
Admiro mucho a los músicos en general, pero tengo especial predilección por los guitarristas, me parecen unos virtuosos en toda la extensión de la palabra. Me encanta ese instrumento musical, ya sea acústica o eléctrica, pues para mí siempre tendrá un significado distinto, porque al ser ejecutada por las manos adecuadas, puede producir bella música, de allí que disfrute mucho de los solos de guitarra y de los instrumentales con este instrumento.
I greatly admire musicians in general, but I have a special predilection for guitarists, they seem to me to be virtuosos in every sense of the word. I love this musical instrument, be it acoustic or electric, because for me it will always have a different meaning, because when played by the right hands, it can produce beautiful music, which is why I really enjoy guitar solos and instrumentals with this instrument.
En ocasiones, el sólo escuchar una guitarra, aún cuando no exista una letra una lírica de por medio, puede conmover mi espíritu de diversas formas, despierta mis emociones. Y con Richie Sambora me ocurre esto, aunque por lo general sus canciones siempre tienen letra, pero él se lanza unos solos de guitarra extensos, y diría épicos, que disfruto mucho. Me gusta mucho que él use con mucha frecuencia guitarras de dos mástiles, eso me parece genial. Para mí es un gran guitarrista, por lo que hoy quise rendirle este pequeño homenaje. Dicho esto vamos a ver mis canciones de hoy #ttt.
Sometimes, just listening to a guitar, even when there is no letter or lyric involved, can move my spirit in various ways, awaken my emotions. And this happens to me with Richie Sambora, although his songs generally always have lyrics, but he throws himself into some extensive guitar solos, I would say epic, that I really enjoy. Quiero empezar esta trilogía de hoy, con esta canción, que es la que da nombre al primer álbum de Sambora en solitario: Stranger in this town, canción del año 1991. Esta canción corresponde al surco 3. Puedo decir con total honestidad que cuando oí esta canción por primera vez, me confundió un poco, pues ya estaba habituada a ver a Sambora en la banda Bon Jovi, sin embargo me gustó mucho la melodía que es un blues hermoso, y cómo no admirar esa guitarra y también esa batería, que suenan preciosas. La letra sin dudas te lleva a reflexionar. Veamos un pedacito de esta y les dejo el video promocional.

Mi siguiente canción fue coescrita entre Jon Bon Jovi y Richie Sambora, por lo cual éste último puede cantarla sin ningún problema, aún cuando ya no forma parte de la banda Bon Jovi; se trata de la muy famosa Wanted Dead or Alive, la cual se incluyó en el álbum de 1986 Slippery When Wet , el más exitoso de Bon Jovi. Esta canción no tiene desperdicio, de principio a fin es una joya, y para compartirla con ustedes, he traído un video en vivo, del año 2014, en donde Sambora hace dúo con la virtuosa guitarrista Orianthi, (quien también fue pareja de Sambora).
