Here's my first installment of #threetunetuesday by Hive account@ablaze
This batch of songs is in the post/neu rock category of bands that I listen to all the time. One of my favorites from this genre is Maserati.
Living Cell is one of the few songs they sing on but pretty much all their other songs are instrumental. I like instrumental music playing the background while cramming on projects at work. Once a voice gets too much into the mix I lose focus on work.
Here's another one of Maserati's popular songs with a nice even beat and lots of guitar. I really like the basic delay subtle drive of the guitars and riffs that aren't too overly complicated.
Now for an original tune by me that was inspired by the style of Maserati. I came up with this one around the time Elon Musk was starting to buy twitter hence the title of the song. This one has a similar effects chain on the guitar that Maserati uses with a drive to amp to delay setup and a bit of reverb on the mix. I just improvised this one off the top of my head to a metronome then added the drums later via toontrack.
