Hey,
This is a song written a while ago, just recorded it on my phone using n-track studio and a zealand usb microphone.
N-track is on the play store, works on android and im sure apple, i pay £1.49 a month for it and it has everything you'd need to record multiple tracks, i havent tried mixing, just record and maybe adjust volume, but i will do all of this business when i set nyself up properly to record.
The zealand mic was £37 off of amazon and seens to do the trick for now, it has reverb on the actual mic itself, but its far too much even at a lower setting so i leave it off. I think this is more a gimmick for the microphone.
It is an old song of mine, but i very nuch want to experiment with it further and get a good recording over the next few weeks, i only did a take or two, as this is only a draft version, to give flavour somewhat.
I will have my proper recording gear this time next week and will soend as much time as necessary on recording to get them as good as i want them to be.
Ill be using garage band on a mac, with an m-audio soundcard.
Song is 'Love' and i normally use a capo on the 3rd fret but played it without today, lyrics are as follows:
I see, what you dont let show
I'll be, the one you don't let go
They'll pay, for everything they steal
Our love, is the only thing that's real
You will, light up my life
Every day, and every night
One more, steo is all we need
To be, free from sin and misery
Its never, too late
To be, free from all our - hate
I see, what you dont let show
I'll be, the one you don't let go
They'll pay, for everything they steal
Our love, is the only thing that's real
Thats it, lovely jubbely, song done.. its a bit soppy i suppose, bit cheesy, but its how it came out as i was playing and whilst writing.
Heres the youtube link:
Thanks for reading and/ or listening, i hope the recirding is enough to get across the ambience intended.
Kind regards,
