Cuando tenía 15 años o menos, escuché por primera vez a Staind, no sabía ni como se llamaba la banda, solo sé que la voz del vocalista y el complemento musical, fue algo que me atrapó. Luego de unos años fue que tuve la posibilidad de tener un CD y poder disfrutar de su música.
When I was 15 years old or less, I heard Staind for the first time, I didn't even know what the band was called, I only know that the vocalist's voice and the musical complement, was something that caught me. After a few years, I was able to have a CD and be able to enjoy his music.
El primer cd que tuve de Staind, no recuerdo ahorita como llegó a mí, pero justo en esa época me prestaban el carro para que fuera aprendiendo a manejar en la cuadra y como era joven y estaba emocionada por el estar manejando, ponía mi cd a todo volumen y una de las canciones que sonaba era esta:
The first cd I had of Staind, I don't remember right now how it came to me, but just at that time they lent me the car so that I could learn to drive on the block and since I was young and I was excited to be driving, I put my cd to full volume and one of the songs that was playing was this:
Cuando mi hermana se iba a montar en el carro, sonaba a todo volumen ese disco que era el que ponía al momento de manejar.

En esa misma época conocí en Family Values Tour donde se presentan varias bandas y una de ellas fue Staind quien hace una versión de una de sus canciones Outside con Fred Durst el vocalista de Limp Bizkit.

Ahí fue donde me fui enamorando de la banda, pero lo que me atrajo más de la banda en la voz de Aaron Lewis quien tiene una fuerza potente, hace sentir lo que expresa musicalmente y crea emociones que no todo el mundo sabe crear. Muchas de sus canciones son emotivas y podría decir que tienen a la depresión, por las letras que tienen y dependiendo de la manera que querían expresar dicha canción producían la música a su preferencia.
That's where I fell in love with the band, but what attracted me most to the band was the voice of Aaron Lewis, who has a powerful force, makes you feel what he expresses musically and creates emotions that not everyone knows how to create. Many of his songs are emotional and I could say that they have depression, because of the lyrics they have and depending on the way they wanted to express said song, they produced the music to their preference.
Esta canción habla de cómo se puede sentir alguien cuando cae fondo con respecto a una relación, y la manera de cómo le reclama a la persona con quien siente que tiene un problema, hay un video donde lo explica, pero no lo entiendo mucho y los gritos hacen que no preste atención jaja Me aturden, aquí se los dejo:

Esta canción a continuación, es una de las más actuales y ahora desde hace un tiempo fue que me encontré con ella, me parece tremenda letra y como siempre Aaron hablando de despedidas, la canción llegó a mi vida en un momento de despecho que hizo que de alguna manera levantara cabeza y me diera cuenta que no todo estaba perdido.

Por mi podría pasar el día hablando de canciones que me gustan de Staind, incluso tengo un afiche enmarcado en mi casa de ellos para siempre tenerlos presentes, siempre ha sido una banda que me ha acompañado a lo largo de mi vida, desde joven que la escucho cada vez consigo algo que no había prestado atención, mientras crezco y maduro, le voy dando la atención requerida de ese momento.
For me I could spend the day talking about songs that I like about Staind, I even have a framed poster of them in my house to always have them present, it has always been a band that has accompanied me throughout my life, since I was young I listen every time I get something that I hadn't paid attention to, while I grow and mature, I give it the required attention at that moment.
