We will be doing something different today also....Beyond the Lyrics where I will try tell you some speculation behind each of the song I shared with you.
Let's jump start immediately, hehehe
Song Name: Lewis Capaldi someone you love
Song by: Someone You Loved
Released: 2019
The song started off with a very cool melodious piano entrance. A song that makes you value what good friends really worth.
When you've got one, never you let go of them.
The song was a very emotional one and speaks volume of the people who were once with us and shared wonderful moments with us but are no where to be found again.
People that we lost In the cold hands of death and will never get to see them again.
It's really a beautiful song that has the three key factors that make music stand outstanding for me, Lyrics, good voice and Rhythm.
Speculations:
Many said it was a song in honour of Lewis's grandmother who died and he is missing her and the memories they shared together
Others said it was a song inspired by his ex-girlfriend that left him
Song Name: Born to Die
Song by Lana Del Rey
Released: 2012
Don't get scared, it's not a song about death... Might be about death though but not like dying dying, hehehe.
Most times, we find ourselves in some situations we don't really want to be but can't help it... We keep hoping that one day we will end up actualising whatever we want... We just don't want to leave it.
We rather look for alternatives to be happy while leaving the main problem we have.
That's what the song was all about.
So maybe after listening, you will muster the courage to kill whatever that isn't worth fighting for... It was never meant to be there initially...
It was born to die.
Speculation:
Some say the song was inspired by the abusive relationship Lana once was in... She didn't want to leave the relationship but at the same time, she won't say she was enjoying it also as she always resorted to getting high (maybe with drugs) to find happiness.
Song Name: Let Me Love You Like a Woman
Song by Lana Del Rey
Released: 2021
Who wouldn't love to be loved? Anyone??? I don't think so, Lol.
The music was all as literal as it could be... It's no doubt that women love deeply and stay loyal to whomever they truly love.
It was an emotional song with beautiful piano backings too... A song that makes us want to fall in love as she really portrayed love as something really wonderful and worth been part of... maybe it is anyway, hehehe
Speculations:
Some say it was when Lana tried to explore the chances of her lover going to another city with her with the promise that wherever they end up doesn't matter provided they stay together.
So that's a wrap... I'm more of a Blues genre someone even though I listen to all genres so it's not magical to see me sending you Blues recommendations for all three, hehehe.
Special appreciation to who started this wonderful #threetunetuesday.
Have a wonderful day, my dear reader and thanks for reading 👍
