I wanted to try to put some lyrics to this song for fun! It did give me a little practice. I think I will re-record it over again. Was excited to show the rough mix! I did 3 vocal takes, each their own, then overlapped them and tried to line them up some, more at the beginning. Next time instead of doing separate takes, I will over dub while listening to the last take. It was just something fun to see what I would sound like, the feel of the lyrics. From listening to it I know where I can change some stuff in sound and what is said. It is a sort of odd song to try to do vocal to. It did have a bit of that punch so I thought it could be good for practice
The story in the lyrics I thought would be too much or awkward yet it seemed to work sort of when I tried it. I know if I can keep at it I will be able to tell some sorts of tales, paint pictures with the words. I thought the lyrics would be too much if too negative, yet it came out alright.
