I love discovering new music. It's one of the reasons I often listen to different radio shows, hoping to discover something new that I absolutely love. Yesterday while cleaning house and doing a little holiday decorating, I came across this band on the radio. I absolutely loved their sound and immediately looked them up on my streaming service.
Shireen - So Human of You.
I'm not really sure how to describe this style of music. I find some of my favorite bands are artists that you really can't label or put in a box. I love unique sounds that cross genres and smash cultural norms.
Shireen - Unmarked
My streaming service always includes a few suggestions at the bottom of the page. Generally they suggest similar sounding bands or bands from the same genre. Every once in awhile you get lucky and find something new you haven't heard before. One of the suggested bands for Shireen, was Euzen. The second I heard them I instantly fell in love with this group as well.
Euzen - Judged By
I'm a huge Bjork fan and the singers voice totally reminds me of Bjork. As a matter of fact the next song is Euzen and I've heard it several times, I honestly thought it was a Bjork song I hadn't heard before. I was thrilled to finally discover who the actual artist was.
Euzen - You're On
Bjork's music and vocal range is so diverse. Hearing the two singers back to back the difference is obvious. Still, the singer has a very similar singing style to Bjork in my opinion.
