The changes in our environment affect our mood, and this is why it is proven to stay in a place filled with possibilities to help enhance our attitude in life. Also, it helps us grow well and make swift wise decisions.
Our environment most times defines a bigger part of us. It is how people judge us. Let's imagine a person who grew up in a toxic environment where deforestation takes place. There is a possibility that the person may not appreciate nature and would prefer a place that is nonexistent.
But, for someone like me, nature is my everything. I absorb some sort of unexplainable energy from nature that keeps me fit, calm, and at peace, which may seem simple... but I have seen how some people try to find this simplicity and in other things and fail. And, this Is because they are in a disturbing environment.
Speaking of peace, staying in an environment filled with nature's blessings has helped control my sanity in a world where insanity seems normal to some people. Peace and quietness work hand in hand in a place where the beauty of the grass, the sky, and everything that aligns with nature rules. The feeling they give is exquisite and gives the mind the necessary ingredients to explore.
Though I didn't grow up very close to the sea, I still find myself going there since it wasn't that far. Well, I won't mind going a thousand miles to feel the breath of the sea on me anyway. This is because of how the environment changes my mood and helps enhance my minimalist practices.
Looking at the sea, it looks very simple. It's just a place with tons of water and little dry land. But, is that all? It is amazing seeing how powerful staying in such an environment can change our view on life without being told. And, it is the perfect place for me to meditate. Listening to the waves of the sea, how the water crashes ashore and the salty air that surrounds the place is quite simple but unexplainable.
Doing this takes me to another sort of unexplainable place, and it feels like I can interact with nature. You know the feeling of solving every impossibility. It paves the way for creative ideas at the end of the day and gets the body and mind relaxed. Trust me, having a relaxed body and mind is not easy nor as simple as the first three-letter of the alphabet and this is why I don't joke with the environment I find myself in as it affects my minimalist practice to the tee.
Though apart from the sea, staying in an area filled with trees adds more life to my life span (you can try it out if you think not), and helps my mood get better looking at the pure color nature has on trees. It is undoubtedly beautiful and heartwarming. It helps the mind relax and clear any vain obstructive thoughts.
Therefore, our mood goes hand in hand with the environment and will find ourselves as it helps shape our minimalist practices.
