Patricia is a beautiful and cheerful girl. We are best friends. We made a plan for a long bike ride with a minimum budget and fewer expenses.
We were both very excited because it was both joyful and tiring to travel with two people on a motorcycle, but it was also our need to save money.
So we started preparing to go on this trip.
To start the journey, we gathered a repair tool kit, a raincoat, a folding tent, a mini gas stove, a torch, some common medicines, towels, undergarments, napkins, and 2-3 very light unisex dresses.
We kept all these items in a shoulder bag that could be easily carried by the back seat passenger. The weight of all these items did not exceed 5 to 7 kg. There was also extra space left in this bag so that if something else had to be kept, then no other bag would have to be taken. As per our target, we had to complete a very long journey of about 6000 km.
On average, we planned to travel approximately 150–200 km per day, which could be exhausting if done on a daily basis.
We knew that we would face many obstacles and difficulties along the way. Nevertheless, we started our journey on the scheduled day. The first day of the journey was very easy, and then later it became harder and harder.
We encountered many desert routes, winding, inaccessible, and mountainous roads, on which we felt very thrilled.
We were moving forward, enjoying all the dangerous roads and facing some unexpected problems.
We saw different small and big animals walking on the roads.
Facing all the problems and enjoying the journey, our passion grew stronger day by day. On the way, we happily ate the area's popular and cheapest street food, which we found at various places along the road.
We enjoyed every situation on the trip, but because we didn't have much money, we used the money available to us by choosing the cheapest hotels and restaurants.
Somewhere, we went to costly restaurants too, and told them about our travel purpose. The owners offered us free food, and we accepted their offer happily because our money was getting lower day by day.
At some places, Patricia bought some local artificial jewellery and clothes made by the local people of those places at a very low cost. The meals in many places were based on their customs and culture, and the people offered us to eat there.
Seeing the safe places at many places along the way, we made our own food by setting up tents and enjoyed the natural beauty of that place.
We travel on dirt roads and narrow paths in the middle of the forest.
We crossed several rivers and waterfalls and made our way through fields of tall grass.
One time, in the middle of the forest, some wild tribal people invited us to come to their local village. Patricia was very afraid and was stopping me from going there either, but I told her this life does not come again and again.
And I realized that they were all very innocent types, and maybe my perception was right, So we went with them, and first of all, we ate tea and biscuits with them.
The entire community peoples welcomed us warmly.
The fear of Patricia was reduced and she became at ease.
In the evening, we were made guests of the tribal king. They served us self-made wine and a special reindeer mutton recipe, along with steamed rice prepared in sunflower oil.
Before the meal, they also gave us a dress to wear like them. In those dresses, we felt like we were also one of them. In between meals, their people showed us their traditional dance and music. That drink and dinner were unforgettable experiences in our lives.
We made friends with their kids, and we also met some exciting new Aboriginal people.
Our motorcycle broke down at some points along the way, but due to prior preparation and having a few spare parts, we fixed it and moved forward. Slowly, the time for the end of our journey was drawing near, and our money was finished, but it is thanks to God that some local people helped us during the journey, with the help of which we were able to reach our home back.
We had a great time on the trip for a minimum expenditure of money and learned about different people's lifestyles, cultures, traditions, food systems, marriage systems, and so on.
The journey of life continues..............
