It's so easy for me to set a goal and plans for every single day but then I find it hard most times to get all of these things done and then I had to think of possible ways to help me meet up with the goals and not just plan my schedules. I have been living my life in a way that I just do what comes to mind and it has been really tiring for me most times as I discovered that I was achieving more in some aspects and less in others which I know it's not supposed to be so.
Finding a balance was what I needed and immediately I identified that fact, I had to set up a time table for myself because I realized that I complained more often than before that the 24 hours which is a day, was too small or short for me but then after setting a time table for myself, I realized the 24 hours was just perfect, it was not too small neither was it too much. While setting the time table for myself, I was having doubts deep down in me because I was scared I wasn't going to meet up with it.
Well, it was not easy at all and that was when I had to go beyond just setting a time table but also putting in place some things that will aid me in meeting up with my plans for each day. Below are some practical habits I put in place to help me meet up with my plans...
Daily Affirmation
After setting my daily plans, waking up every morning to see a new day was a quick reminder that makes me tell myself some positive words and affirmative words which helps me to be positive minded towards achieving my goals for that day. The first time I started following the time table, I couldn't meet up well with all of the plans but the second day was even more harder but then I knew my mind was getting accustomed to the new changes little by little.
Giving up is not an option
There was a times when I scheduled my time to help me meet up with my daily plans but at some point I just realized that I was no longer following my time table but instead of me losing faith that I can't do it, I just cushion myself to stick with the time table again. Doing this has helped me greatly because I realize that every time I get reminded of how poorly I'm doing and I retraced my step, I see how better I become and that habit of not giving up has helped me greatly in meeting up with my plans.
Evaluation / rescheduling
As time went by, I got to know that some things are just too easy or are no longer working, I just know I have to evaluate and reschedule my time and this has proven to be a really good way of helping me stick to my plans. Although, there were times when I try to play stubborn and refuse to reschedule my goals and I find out that procrastination starts creeping in and before I can get a grip of what was happening, I realize that I'm no longer working with a plan.
Self discipline
This one is a little self explanatory but then I will love to explain a little bit about it. There are times when after following my plans to some extent, I get entangled by other things that I sometimes forget that there is time for everything. Knowing that this things can happen at any time, I try to apply self discipline and I have seen how it has helped me in fulfilling my daily plans.
These are a few things I have been putting in place to help me achieve my plans on a daily basis and it has helped me fit in all my plans and I have seen how well I'm doing after planning my time by allocating different things for different time. From time to time I love looking at how well I'm doing to know if I'm doing my best or I'm not and that has helped me to know were to improve on and where I should keep being consistent at. I'm really so happy that I decided to allocate time to all my activities in a day and I've realized that I'm doing really well so far.
A little something for you
A little something for youAs a worker both online and in the real world, a personal advise I would love to give is, always try to make every time count by giving each minute, hour, and day to different activities and try to stick to the time for each activity and then you will realize that the 24 hours is perfect and you will then be able to carry out all your task and still realize that there is enough time for you to rest yourself as you should. And mind you, NEVER SAY NEVER! You only know it works or not when you try it with the mind of making it work, hehe.
Your mind is a really beautiful world of his own and it's always willing to go where you send it and that's the reason why you just have to be very careful and conscious of where you send it to. Meeting up with a set target at a particular time is something that can only be possible when there is a determined mind. If you are not ready for something but yet you want such a thing, you will realize that once the thing comes, you will loose it again because you were not ready for such things even though is what you've always wanted.
