Expensing too much for Smartphones [#kiss-74]

The lifestyle of a minimalist should be simple and organized. Maybe for that reason, a minimalist can avoid various kinds of difficulties. Minimalists don't rush for trendy things because they can differentiate between what is their necessity and what is their desire. And that characteristic is one of the most important characteristics of a Minimalist.

Nowadays people like to imitate one another. Whenever people see others buying some attractive things, they also go for it. Whenever people see others enjoying their time in a way, they also try to enjoy their time how others enjoy it. In a word, people try to follow the lifestyles of others because they think it's the ideal lifestyle for them. In most cases, it has been seen that people try to follow the lifestyle of rich people. The lifestyle of rich people is not a problem for those who are rich but it's really difficult to bear the expenses who come from a poor or middle-class family because they don't have enough backup funds like the rich people. It's impossible for poor or middle-class people to do everything like rich people. So people choose some selective things from the rich people's lifestyle

One of the most followed things is the Smartphone. In recent times the hype of the expensive smartphone of iPhone, Samsung, and other brands is very high. If one new phone launches then people go to pursue it as fast as possible. They are ready to pay the high price for it. I don't know why people need to use a smartphone at the very beginning time because of what they need to pay extra. Every time it has been seen that after 20/25 days the price of a newly launched smartphone came to its actual price from high price. I think people need to wait for a reasonable price. Why do they pay extra?

It was okay till the rich people doing it but it's a matter of surprise that general people also doing the same thing. In the case of the very high and expensive smartphone of iPhone or Samsung brand, many people try to buy it because several kinds of good features exist there. But for a normal person, what is the purpose of buying an expensive smartphone? I am talking about my country's people. According to local statistics in our city, it has been seen that the kids of poor or middle-class families use the most expensive smartphones more than kids of rich families. It's a matter of surprise that those kids got the expensive smartphones by blackmailing their parents. Blackmailing means stopping taking food, not coming home, making parents afraid of suicide, etc., etc.

To be honest, except for some specific people, no one needs to use expensive smartphones for their activities and work. People can buy a budget-friendly smartphone and using that smartphone they can do all the things which they are doing in an expensive smartphone. Some people need to face huge difficulties for several months to buy an expensive smartphone and some people don't hesitate to take loans for it also.

It's not a problem for rich people but almost everyone is going for it and the most possible reason can be to show off nothing more than it. As a minimalist, I feel that almost every person is expensing more for smartphones rather than buying them at a reasonable price. I feel that people should need to follow a simple way of buying a budget-friendly smartphone and save the meaning money from wasting.
