Sunday is always the day for a lovely breakfast. On 23 July 2025, I started a 30 day heart healthy challenge based on 30 key foods, 30 days and £30 a week for food shopping. 228 days later I'm still eating like it! Based vaguely on the mediterranean diet it includes legumes, nuts and seeds, dairy proteins, oily fish, fruits and vegetables and extra virgin olive oil. I think I saved £107 of my £30 a week budget over the first seven weeks.
