I like ephemera, it reminds us we are only here for a short time.
I like the layers it adds to life, the additional meaning and resonance.
Sometimes I just tuck the ferry ticket for Strangford Lough into the CD cover of Avalon Sunset, timing it just right to drive into Coney Island as the song with the same name was playing. Other times I collect it to make into something else.
