I consider my minimalist lifestyle at the moment to be extremely simple and somewhat complicated at the same time thanks to my different living conditions. My daily activities change often dependent on where I am and what activities I have planned for the week.
Over the past 4 weeks, my routine included a few hours at the gym, an hour at my driving school and the rest of the day spend shuffling between work on my laptop and playing with my puppy, Raven,
I spend every day doing just a few important things that bring me a step closer to whatever goal I have set for myself for a given period. Unfortunately, I don't live my life with a grand plan so my short and timely goals are what keep me going and help me find purpose.
At the moment, I spend my days a little differently as I've moved from my previous location to a different home. This home has a few more people than my previous location so I'm forced to be a little more considerate in my activities.
Unlike my other home, at this home, I share a bedroom with 3 others and I have to wake up a lot earlier to get the little ones ready for school. I can't afford a gym membership at this location so I have a hard time working out so I spend my day watching movies and getting little goals accomplished with my laptop.
I sleep a lot more at this home than in my other homes thanks to how comfortable and quiet the house gets when the kids are at school and once they fall asleep at night it gets quiet again so I go to bed earlier than at my other home where I fall asleep whenever I want and wake up whenever I want.
In a few days I'll be going over to a different home, my third home, that's pretty much like my first home but without the morning activities. I spend most of my time indoors with my friend either watching shows or designing new projects.
I generally live a boring and secluded life in all my homes. I spend more time indoors than I do outdoors because there's almost nothing to do outside and when I do leave the house it's usually to get enough groceries to keep me stable within the house.
I work remotely so that reduces my need for the outdoors, however, on some rare occasions, I keep my mental fluids running by going out for some drinks with friends or on even rarer occasions, I go restaurant hopping.
I consider myself to be a situational introvert or a semi-introvert due to the fact that I'm only this much of an introvert because I have no external influence to leave the house and well, I derive a lot more joy from food than I do from most outdoor activities. I find myself getting burnt out a lot more from being outdoors too often than I do from other activities.
Conclusion
I currently don't have a home of my own but you could say I live with my parents because that's where the majority of my property stays, however, when I don't feel like staying with my parents I move to a different city and stay with my sister or a friend.
While having a place of my own would be great, I really don't see the economical wisdom in it at the moment. Maybe in a year or 2, I'll have a different opinion about my living condition and make some necessary adjustments.
