I was at the top of the Almendares bridge, waiting for classic cars full of tourists to pass by. That afternoon there were actually fewer than I expected, for the time I was able to spend on the hunt to photograph them as they passed underneath.
Months later, I learned the technique known as pixel stretch in Photoshop, of which I consider Christian Mardare a great exponent, and started going through my image library. I found photos from that day at the bridge, and this one of the red car with tourists not so happy or energized was the one. I took the opportunity to put them in this kind of floating red guide on an old street.
Estaba en lo alto del puente Almendares, esperando que pasaran autos clásicos llenos de turistas. Aquella tarde realmente pasaron menos de los que esperaba, para el tiempo que pude destinar ese día para fotografiarlos al pasar.
Luego aprendí la técnica conocida como pixel stretch en Photoshop, del cual considero a un magnífico exponente a Christian Mardare, y me puse a revisar mi biblioteca de imágenes y me encontré esta del auto rojo con turistas no tan felices ni energizadas. Aproveché para ponerlas en esta especie de guía roja flotante sobre una antigua calle.
