Hello, photography lovers! Today I bring you chapter 22 with several photographic exercises that I did on the site 52frames during 2022, my third year there. I hope you find them interesting!
Hola, amantes de la fotografía! Hoy les traigo el capítulo 22 con varios ejercicios fotográficos que hice en el sitio 52frames durante el 2022, mi tercer año ahí. Espero que les resulten interesantes!
Week 24, 2022: Shoot from above / Dispara desde arriba
The same position from the last "shoot from above" challenge two years ago. From the bridge over the Almendares River towards the narrow street that passes underneath. I just have to wait a few minutes and the classic convertible cars will pass by with the tourists. All with very particular faces and poses, absorbed in their thoughts. I really liked this photo in particular because the driver was misaligned to avoid someone who was in the tunnel in front of her. Many of these classic cars have this striking pink color because it works a lot with tourists; interaction has conditioned these shades over the years.
La misma posición del último desafío "disparar desde arriba" hace dos años. Desde el puente sobre el río Almendares hacia la calle estrecha que pasa por debajo. Sólo tengo que esperar unos minutos y los coches clásicos descapotables pasarán con los turistas. Todos con rostros y poses muy particulares, absortos en sus pensamientos. Me gustó mucho esta foto en particular porque la conductora estaba desalineada para evitar a alguien que estaba en el túnel frente a ella. Muchos de estos autos clásicos tienen este llamativo color rosa porque funciona mucho con los turistas, la interacción condicionó estas tonalidades con el paso de los años.
Week 25, 2022: What is it? / Qué es?
Difficult to guess, because it is a very peculiar fidget spinner that they gave me a while ago. It was even one of my themes on 52frames my first year. Broadly speaking, it is a small metal cube that you can hold by two of its vertices and rotate the rest. Very relaxing, like everything in those times hahaha!
Difícil de adivinar, porque es un fidget spinner muy peculiar que me regalaron hace un tiempo. Incluso fue uno de mis temas en 52frames mi primer año. A grandes rasgos se trata de un pequeño cubo metálico que puedes sujetar por dos de sus vértices y girar el resto. Muy relajante, como todo en esos tiempos jajaja!
Week 26, 2022: Pattern / Patrón
The links of the silver chain that I have worn around my neck for many years, lined up and photographed with my macro lens.
Los eslabones de la cadena de plata que llevo en mi cuello hace muchos años, alineados y fotografiados con mi lente macro.
Week 27, 2022: Negative Space / Espacio negativo
The positive space of one of my muses, Lili, in a dark environment. I loved taking this photo. I miss my friend a lot, she is now living in Texas.
El positivo espacio de una de mis musas, Lili, en un ambiente oscuro. Me encantó hacer esta foto. Extraño mucho a mi amiga, ahora está viviendo en Texas.
Week 28, 2022: Silhouette / Silueta
I went to my second favorite sunset spot and realized I had already used it more than four times to complete the 52 frame challenges. The idea was to capture someone, fisherman or bather, against the setting sun, but the subjects I had the opportunity to photograph from that vantage point really couldn't compete with this image you're seeing.
Fui a mi segundo lugar favorito para ver los atardeceres y me di cuenta de que ya lo había usado más de cuatro veces para completar los desafíos de 52 frames. La idea era capturar a alguien, pescador o bañista, contra el sol poniente, pero los sujetos que tuve la oportunidad de fotografiar desde ese punto de vista realmente no podían competir con esta imagen que estás viendo.
Some photos correspond better than others to each challenge posed...I will embrace imperfection!
Algunas fotos corresponden mejor que otras a cada reto planteado...abrazaré la imperfección!
