Car Show in Galway
As any of my regular readers will know, I have three sons and my eldest loves cars. He always liked playing with them as a little man, and the interest has remained. He will tell what any car on the road is from 100 paces and knows all about luxury cars like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, McClaren and many more. He's the kind of kid who will probably own one of these eventually, as he's got smarts and ambition even at his young age. His two brothers have also inherited the car enthusiasm, but not to the extent of my eldest, so when my wife and I saw that the Cannonball Car tour was coming to Ireland last Summer, we knew that it would be the perfect day out for the boys.
I had not been to a Cannonball tour before, so I didn't really know what to expect. I knew that there would be some sweet cars, but to be honest I was really impressed with the cars on display and the boys were thrilled to see so many super cars up close and personal that they could touch and even get into - yes, some of the drivers were really nice and allowed some kids to jump into the driver seat to see what it felt like to be in a dream car.
Here are a few of the cars that were there on the day last summer.
Lamborghinis
Ferraris
Bentley, Rolls Royce, Camero, Mustang and much much more
Cannonball Tour
These supercars were in Galway for the annual Canonball fundraiser. These classic motors drive around Ireland with hundreds of other supercar owners and motoring enthusiasts and collect money for charity as they make their rounds which is a fantastic idea. Here's what they say about themselves on their website. Who knows, a few of us might join them someday if Hive or other Cryptocurrency investments we have properly take off.
