I have hundreds of slides in storage that I bought as part of some auction years ago. I can't get round to scanning them (also I sold my scanner) - just a bit busy. I do have a projector so I've looked through a bunch of them and they're mainly personal holidays to Asia. They are so well catalogued and dated so I know when they were taken. There are some gems in there from Hong Kong in the 70's and early 80's.
