Hey, everyone, it's been a few days since my last post. I hope everyone is doing great! I have to keep the momentum of shooting and posting, otherwise I get lazy and stop altogether. :) So here are the captures I took on two separate early mornings in Belgrade. Mornings are getting quite cold and so the evenings, autumn is almost here. I was waking up extremely early (4am) and few times roamed the city still covered in darkness from last night.
Basically, whether it's cloudy, sunny or rainy determines when I'll go out. Below we have some mixed conditions. When the sun is out I'm looking for little patches of light and shoot primarily with aesthetic aspect in mind. When it's cloudy, I turn into documentary photographer. Honestly I prefer it that way - the stories are more meaningful.
The first photo was a highlight, at least for me (I did slight erasing to remove distracting element). Shooting through a window of a gallery and capturing two different stories. Person in the light through the opposite window and shadow of a person in the reflection. Quite a lot of my photographs lately have this element of balance in them - Yin and Yang. Perhaps it's something I need to focus on in my life and the universe is sending me a message? I'm always taking signs into consideration. :)
Walking the almost empty streets while it's still dawn is a beautiful and surreal experience! It's so peaceful, so quiet. I've walked these streets god knows how many times, but it was never this enjoyable. Except at bus stops where everyone seems to gravitate haha. I hope you enjoy the shots! Taken with Fuji X-Pro2 + 35mm F/2.
