Hey, everyone! Yesterday was a gloomy day with light rain drizzling from time to time. I wasn't going to stay home regardless, and went for a walk in the nearby forest. A good pair of shoes and warm clothes and I was ready for an adventure.
Every time I go exploring I try to follow a different path and look for something new. Sometimes I almost get myself in trouble - I'll go far tempted by the new surroundings to the point where I have no idea where I am or how to get back. :D All I can do then is follow my internal compass which proved itself to be very reliable. No matter where I end up, my intuition leads me in the right direction. Obviously it's hard to get lost nowadays with maps and phones, but you never know and developing your orientation skills is important.
I found some mushrooms along the way but my guess is they are not on the edible side so I don't pick them. Better to be safe although I would like to have the knowledge and be able to recognize different types. Back when we were living in the village when I was young, we used to go mushroom hunting regularly but that was long time ago.
Forest is now in the sweet spot between green and orange, fallen leaves cover the ground and soon the trees will be all bare. Some trees are torn off and thrown across the path by the strong winds. The last few photos are from a previous walk from few weeks ago. Taken with Fuji X-Pro2 + 35mm F/2.
I was inspired by the walk and created a new reel/short that includes some photos I took in the natural environment. Hope you enjoy! :)
