Hey, everyone! I've been going through archives and realized there are bunch of photos from the past three months that I haven't posted. Usually it's because there are only few in the set, not enough to publish as a single post. So here I'm throwing together photos from different sessions so that they don't get lost on the hard drive.
It happened to me few times over the past 6 years that I lose photos from a particular trip or walk due to a drive crash, accidental delete and similar stuff - so it's always good idea to have them on the blockchain.
Starting off with these beautiful swans at Danube promenade. You can always find them at Zemun quay, quite used to the presence of people they'll even come of the water and walk among humans hoping to get some food. Ducks and seagulls keep them company.
Two photos from Kalemegdan fortress, you can easily recognize it by the color of bricks and stones.
Another place I visit regularly is Ada lake. While it's still not the swim season, it is convenient for long walks, enjoying the nature or sitting down for a coffee. This day I was doing my Tai Chi practice and so I took a few photos of people being mesmerized in the water reflections.
A set of night photos from the main Belgrade pedestrian street on a cold February evening. Just some random snapshots of people.
Here we go back to Zemun to photograph these lined up seagulls in the early morning.
I used to shoot a lot in this style of strong contrast, harsh shadows and exposing for highlights. Not necessarily in black and white. Right now it's not something I enjoy doing much and prefer creating moody, atmospheric images where colors and composition play an important role.
And the final four photos are from another night session, this time it was January. I'm creating contrast by framing subjects in front of or inside the light source like a car flashlights or lit hallway. Similar idea to the black and white example below, but preserving much more details important for the composition.
Hope you like the photos!
