Spiders are animals in the Arachnida class that have many legs and eyes. Generally, spiders are also predatory animals that prey on other types of small animals such as insects or sometimes even each other.
On today's post I again want to share some photos of spiders that I take a photo about 3 days ago when I was hunting for macro objects in the forest. I found this spider in wild leaves & before I managed to capture several photos of it, I lost track of this spider so after a while I found its whereabouts again.
Spiders themselves also consist of several species and the most common is the jumping spider species, such as the spider that I am sharing. This is one of the spiders that belongs to the jumping spider species.
There are several types of jumping spiders themselves, but generally the jumping spider species can be recognized by their characteristic eyes which consist of four pairs & two pairs of eyes are larger than the others.
Apart from that, jumping spiders also have several size variations, the spider that I am sharing is relatively small in size. Even though it is small in size, it has an attractive appearance, it consists of color patterns & the shape of its legs which are longer than other types of jumping spiders.
In fact, apart from being long, the shape of the legs also slightly resembles the legs of a crab. Meanwhile, the color is a combination of several colors such as black, brown, red & yellow lines on the body. This is a very interesting color combination in my opinion.
And scientifically, the spider I mean is a spider with the binomial name Tutelina elegans. Tutelina elegans is a species of jumping spider from the family Salticidae. Then another interesting fact about this spider is that its two main eyeballs can change color, sometimes dark and sometimes turning brown.
