In a few years it will be four decades of living on this island.The important and necessary experience of knowing other lands I have only developed theoretically,in practice I have not yet made my debut as a traveler,at least not internationally.Let's say that if we talk in baseball terms I have always been Home Club.But "playing at home" brings me certain benefits.Havana always gives me gifts,presents that seem like bribes,silk covered with exclusive colors and texture,none like the other.The sunsets here are divine.If you have been in this city, near the sea in the last minutes of light you know what I mean.For me they are unique,I want to risk and believe so,although tomorrow the practice adds new colors and my theory is discarded.

En pocos años serán cuatro décadas de vivir en esta isla.La importante y necesaria experiencia de conocer otras tierras solo la he desarrollado de manera teórica,en la práctica aún no me estreno como viajero,al menos no internacional.Vamos que si hablamos en términos de baseball siempre he sido Home Club.Pero "jugar en casa" me trae ciertos beneficios.La Habana siempre que puede me hace regalos, presentes que parecen sobornos ,cubiertos de seda con colores y textura exclusiva, ninguno se parece al otro.Los atardeceres de la Habana son divinos.Si has estado en esta ciudad,cerca del mar en los últimos minutos de luz sabes de lo que hablo.Para mi son únicos,quiero arriesgarme y creerlo así,aunque mañana la práctica añada colores nuevos y mi teoría sea desechada.
