In the summer, my little dream came true - a trip to Italy. Despite the long tiring road and the incredible heat, it was unforgettable. It all started in Naples. Here we tasted a real Italian pizza, or rather a special one - Neapolitan - with a very thin dough and a juicy filling. Then we visited the gallery, which was once the first trading point of the city. It has very beautiful frescoes both on the walls and on the ground. And to my surprise, there are many mirrors, which adds majesty and sophistication. on the way there we passed through the palace of the twelve saints, which looks mighty because of its crescent shape and occupies almost the entire central area of Naples.
Probably many people have heard about the volcano Vesuvius and the city of Pompeii, which it destroyed. So I was lucky enough to see it. I was curious, how do people live so close to an active volcano?
And most of all I liked the trip to the Amalfi Peninsula. The road there was not easy, but it was definitely worth it. At first we arrived at the port and it really impressed us. There were countless yachts, boats, and liners. And they all fit very harmoniously there . The peninsula itself is located on a rocky terrain, so the house and the town in general are located as if on floors. One gets the impression that it is all a large multi-story building. The island is ancient and quite small, but it has secret underground tourist passages that can be used to go around the entire area in 15 minutes and go to the spacious beach. And the best souvenirs from here will be lemons and limoncheeeoo - tincture on lemons. Unusual lemons grow on A alpha - scientists have proven that because of their thick skin and peel, they have healing abilities.
And, of course, Italy is the sea. I especially fell in love with the Mediterranean Sea because of its "character". It is unexpected and unpredictable and always surprises. It is very calm, then it rages, but at the same time it is always clean. And these unforgettable sunsets and sunrises remained forever in my memory in my heart.
