The Palacio Salvo Skyscraper Center! Is indeed an Architectural Marvel!
A 27 story marvelously built Skyscraper in Montevideo was beautifully designed by an Italian Architect "Mario Palanti" and this structure was built to completion in the year 1928. Amazing isn't it.
It stands tall at 100meters /330 feet.
Interestingly it was originally built to be a hotel but was never meant to be one. Though now it serves as offices and apartments to many.
It is indeed popular tourist destination, featuring in several TV shows and a number of movies.
Even today, it remains one of the most iconic architectural structures/buildings in the city.
