It had been a year since I had covered a wedding until recently when these young lovers contacted me to attend their wedding event and photograph the ceremony as well as the party they organized afterwards. The venue was the Palacio de los Matrimonios de Prado, so called because it's located on the avenue of the same name in Havana. There we followed the traditionally established protocol and I was there the whole time taking the pictures of this part of the session. The truth is that it's a stressful process for many reasons. First, because it's a series of events to which you have to be very aware of in order to capture them correctly at the moment they happen. Second, because there are always crowds of people around not only willing to watch and participate, but also taking pictures and recording videos with their cell phones. Anyway, it's a challenge to get good images in those conditions, but I think we did it. Enjoy!
