Diego and Evelyn are an Ecuadorian couple working as doctors in Cuba. They've been around here for years and their contracts are coming to an end soon. It's just before this moment that he decides to propose to her, perhaps as a symbol of the end of one stage of their lives and the beginning of a new one, after they return to their country of origin. At this point I received their call for a photoshoot of this unique moment and a romantic stroll through the old part of the city. We agreed on the date and meeting place and there we met, in the so-called Plaza de Armas, a park right in the middle of El Templete, the exact area where Havana was founded 504 years ago; and the Palacio de los Capitanes Generales, seat of the former Spanish colonial government. All of this is part of the historic district of Old Havana, which is what you'll see throughout this session. We obtained beautiful images with which they were delighted and I was very satisfied, so today I'm gladly sharing them with you, hoping you'll enjoy them.
