I have been so intent on seeing the sun rise again on the surf beach that I got to the beach at 5:11 this morning. The official time on my weather app for today's sunrise was 5:08.
The light in the beach southern hemisphere is very different to the northern hemisphere, especially in the sub tropics where I live at the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. I did not see a sunrise this morning with the depth of the beautiful red and orange colours shared by in his posts.
It was a very good feel walking my local beach nonetheless. All sunrises are special.
This is my first shot showing only two little patches of gold in a blue sky filled with a multitude of cloud of many different textures and colour.
I always find it remarkable how quickly the sky fills with the dawning of a new day. This is the my next photograph taken only a couple of minuets after the first shot.
And here is my third shot showing the reflections of the sunrise in the wet sand with the tide going out.
Eventually the bright golden ball of the sun filled the beach with the prettiest golden reflections over the waves.
My ten minute morning sunrise excursion was well worth the effort. Leaving the beach to the walkers and seagulls in the fresh morning light I headed for home and a coffee.
