Greetings, my friends
There's a tree growing outside my window, it's a thorn tree. Usually in winter, I watch through the window the birds that come to the bird feeder hanging on this tree.
With the onset of spring, the feeders are empty and I no longer see the birds. But this spring is not like all the previous ones. I have already seen a small bird among the branches several times, which sang beautifully. But I didn't have time to identify her. Today I saw some movement among the branches of a tree with my peripheral vision. It was a butterfly that fluttered from one flower to another.
Wow, I identified a butterfly on the Internet. It's a swallowtail. I am very surprised by this fact. I have never seen such a large butterfly in our area in the wild before. The wingspan of the swallowtail can reach 90mm. It's probably all the effects of climate change. In our city, the heat has been +18 degrees for a week. And it's only the month of May.
Statistics say that the average daytime temperature in May in our city is +16 degrees.
It's a pity that the butterfly did not turn its wings in my direction to show itself in full glory. But even this is a real gift for me.
My adult children sometimes laugh that I'm sitting at my computer and looking out the window at a tree. But I really see a lot of interesting things on it. 5 years ago I wanted to delete it, but something inside me told me - don't do it.
The white flowers had already begun to fall from the branches. A couple more days and the tree will turn green.
I heard a phrase today that in the spring the feeling of the fleetness of life becomes more acute.
