Hello friends,
I want to add some bright colors today by posting photos from of flamingos.
We saw these Flamingos at SeaWorld. I like them because of their pink vivid color, and I also like how they look very elegant, and in general their shape is unusual compared to other birds that we are used to. I’m talking about pigeons, sparrows, and other urban birds.
I heard about flamingos for the first time when I was about 4-6 years old. I was watching old cartoon about Alice in Wonderland. There was an episode where she had to play cricket game against the Queen. The funny part was that instead of bats they had to use flamingos. Holding the for legs upside down.
By the way did you know why flamingos are red in color?
I was guessing that it’s becoming of their food, and I was right:-)
Carotenoids give carrots their orange color. They are also found in the microscopic algae that brine shrimp eat. Flamingos eat algae and brine shrimp, then their bodies metabolize the pigments, turning their feathers pink.
Let me finally add some flowers photos🌸
This plant looks like bottle brush, except the flower is not as long as bottle brush’s.
I hope t wasn’t too much of flamingos pics:-) I mean how it can be too much? They are so pretty.
