.I love taking photos,and even more I like to see other people's photos.Especially professional photo journalism photography which just blows me away-how the photographers can capture sometimes disturbing, controversial,and downright dangerous photos in trying circumstances and be in the right place at exactly the right time to convey the true depth of emotion of the subject astounds me!
I live in Auckland New Zealand,a relatively small city of 1.5 million,so we don't always get large international photography exhibitions here. Last year I went to the 2019 World Press Association photography exhibition where the world's best press photographers were on show.Some of these images were so controversial and compelling they empowered political change,specifically in the U.S. border restrictions that were highlightrted by the image of the crying child being forced from her arrested mother as they tried to cross into the U.S. from Mexico.
All the photos are technically brilliant-unfortunately I could only take images of the images so there is some reflective glare and some distortion in these photos and I can't remember all the subjects and titles.However if you didn't see this exhibition now is your time to see it for free😀
