Greetings to photography lovers!

Here I am again in this wonderful community where I can share everything I see around me and that seems to me worthy of saving in an image, because at the moment of capturing it, it also keeps a feeling or a special emotion. It is the magic of photography that allows us to treasure moments to make them unforgettable and permanent in our memories.

Por acá, estoy de nuevo en esta maravillosa comunidad en la que puedo compartir todo lo que veo a mi alrededor y que me parece digno de guardar en una imagen, pues en el momento capturarla, guarda también un sentimiento o una emoción especial. Es la magia de la fotografía la que nos permite atesorar instantes para hacerlos inolvidables y permanentes en nuestros recuerdos.

I keep walking and wandering these bustling and always busy avenues of Bogota, finding reasons to contemplate and admire how nature has its space in the midst of the chaos of the city to keep us in connection with its splendor and beauty.

In this beautiful and cold city, plants grow and flourish everywhere as an important and latent warning that life is chaotically beautiful and ephemeral at the same time. For this reason, it calls us to enjoy it and live it with all that this gift brings.

In my walks to learn and understand this city, I am always on the lookout to capture the flowers that abound everywhere. This has become more than a hobby for me, it has become an opportunity to connect with the simple and majestic in nature.

Sigo andando y desandando estas avenidas bulliciosas y siempre movidas de Bogotá, y encontrando motivos para contemplar y admirar cómo la naturaleza tiene su espacio en medio del caos citadino para mantenernos en conexión con su esplendor y belleza.

En esta hermosa y fría ciudad, crecen y florecen las plantas por todas partes como una importante y latente advertencia, a la que no se puede dejar de percibir, de que la vida es caóticamente bella y efímera, al mismo tiempo. Por esto, nos hace el llamado a disfrutarla y vivirla con todo lo que este regalo trae envuelto.

En mis caminatas para aprenderme y entender esta ciudad, voy siempre atenta para capturar las flores que abundan por doquier. Esto se ha convertido en más que un hobby para mí, en una oportunidad para conectarme con lo simple y majestuoso de la naturaleza.

I am amazed by the imposing mountain that borders this city and that, sometimes, is not seen because of the fog, to the tiny flowers that sprout from hidden places.

On this occasion, I came across these white flowers that caught my attention for their purity and splendor. The first photos are of beautiful Calla lilies and the last photos are of numerous and flirtatious Begonias.

Calla lilies are flowers of a particular shape, very similar to a cup that keeps the sweetness of a vital elixir. Begonias are tiny flowers, but big in beauty, surrounded by their huge green and very shiny leaves.

I could not continue my walk without first stopping and falling in love with these flowers and taking the opportunity to save them in my gallery to share them with you who, like me, love the art of capturing for posterity the beautiful and surprising things in life and everything that surrounds us. At the end of the day they are gifts from God to be thankful for.

Me sorprende la imponente montaña que bordea esta ciudad y que, a veces, no se ve por la neblina, hasta las diminutas flores que brotan de recónditos lugares.

En esta ocasión, me encontré con estas flores blancas que llamaron mi atención por su pureza y esplendor. Las primeras fotos son de unas Calas hermosas y las últimas fotografías son de unas Begonias numerosas y coquetas.

Las Calas son flores de una forma particular, muy parecida a una copa que guarda el dulzor de un elixir vital. Las Begonias son flores pequeñitas, pero grandes en belleza, rodeadas de sus enormes hojas verdes y muy brillantes.

No pude seguir mi caminata, sin antes detenerme y enamorarme de estas flores y aprovechar de guardarlas en mi galería para compartirlas con ustedes que, al igual que yo, aman el arte de capturar para la posteridad lo bello y sorprendente de la vida y de todo lo que nos rodea. Al final de cuentas son dádivas de Dios que hay que agradecer.
