Easter memories| Photographic collection (ENG-SPA)

From my visit to Cerro Monserrate in Bogota I kept a large number of photographs that I will treasure forever. Family and personal photographs worthy of taking out of my cell phone memory or computer files to print them and decorate the spaces in my home. In this regard, I believe that we should resume the old custom of developing the photos that we like the most or that are most meaningful to keep them in albums and leave them on display to relive past moments through these images.

Also, there are saved in my cell phone, photos of beautiful landscapes that I was able to capture in a click to make them last in time and to return to them again because they bear the imprint of contemplation and elevation of my spirit. They will be windows of enjoyment and unforgettable memories.

When I started the ascent to the sanctuary of Monserrate, along the way, you can see that on one of the sides are some sculptures of the Stations of the Cross representing the Passion and Death of Christ. These sculptures were brought from Italy last century.

I was able to take pictures of some of these sculptures because, at certain times, the agglomeration of a group of tourists with a guide did not allow me to take pictures from far away or to frame well the ones I could photograph.

For a moment, I wanted to discard some shots that I thought had been damaged, because in several of my photographs there is a flash of light that was produced by the incidence of the sun's rays, just above the sculptures, in others, some luminous circles, but on second thought I decided to leave them because it seemed to me that these light effects gave a more spiritual air to the moment I was living.

So, today I want to share with you these photographs that I thought were special to keep in my photographic collections.

De mi visita al Cerro Monserrate en Bogotá guardó una gran cantidad de fotografías que atesoraré por siempre. Fotografías familiares y personales dignas de sacar de la memoria del celular o de los archivos de la computadora para imprimirlas y decorar los espacios de mi hogar. A propósito de esto, considero que hay que retomar la vieja costumbre de revelar las fotos que más nos gusten o que sean más significativas para guardarlas en álbumes y dejarlos a la vista para revivir momentos pasados a través de esas imágenes.

También, están guardadas en mi celular, fotos de hermosos paisajes que pude capturar en un click para hacerlos perdurar en el tiempo y para volver a ellos de nuevo porque llevan la impronta de la contemplación y de la elevación de mi espíritu. Serán ventanas de disfrute y de recuerdos inolvidables.

Cuando inicié el ascenso hasta el santuario de Monserrate, a lo largo del camino, puede ver que en uno de los lados están unas esculturas del viacrucis que representa la Pasión y Muerte de Cristo. Estas esculturas fueron traídas desde Italia el siglo pasado.

Pude tomar fotos de algunas de estas esculturas porque, en ciertos momentos, la aglomeración de un grupo de turistas que iban con un guía no me permitían tomar fotos desde lejos o encuadrar bien las que podía fotografiar.

Por un momento, quise desechar unas tomas que pensé que se habían dañado, pues en varias de mis fotografías se observa un destello de luz que se produjo por la incidencia de los rayos del sol, justo encima de las esculturas, en otras, unos círculos luminosos, pero pensándolo mejor decidí dejarlas porque me pareció que estos efectos de luz le dieron un aire más espiritual al momento que estaba viviendo.

Así, hoy quiero compartir con ustedes estas fotografías que me parecieron especiales para guardarlas en mis colecciones fotográficas.
