Hello friends.
I hope that everything is fine with you and it will always be like this. I want to share with you my photos of beautiful coins from the Caucasian Republic of Azerbaijan.
I am deeply convinced that coins are not only symbols of solvency, but also real works of art. Each coin has its own artist. His job is very difficult and responsible. These masters are called "medallists". There are not many of them, and their skills have always been highly appreciated. After all, every citizen of their country will see their work.
First of all, I offer you a beautiful coin with a value of 50 gapiks. Look at how mirrored its surface is. This coin is very similar in design to the 2 euro coin.
And this is not surprising. After all, the famous Austrian medallist Robert Kalina was the design artist. He worked not only for Azerbaijan, but also for Bosnia and Herzegovina. And of course for his homeland - Austria.
The coin depicts two oil rigs. It is a symbol of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Oil has been produced there since ancient times. This is the main source of income for this country.
On the other side of the coin there is a map of the republic (along with Nagorno-Karabakh). The design of this coin was developed back in 2006.
The next coin has a face value of 20 gapiks. It shows some geometric drawings with corners marked in Greek letters.
We also see a spiral staircase.
We also see a spiral staircase. The coin shines as if it is made of gold. But in fact, it is minted from steel with a brass coating.
In the geometric drawing, you can see a regular hexagon inscribed in a circle and at the same time described near the circle. Then it is divided into six equilateral triangles. What is the meaning of this drawing on the coin - I do not know.
The last coin is 10 gapiks. It depicts a warrior's helmet.
There is an amazing pattern along the contour of the coin. In macro photography, the subtlety of the work done is clearly visible.
All three coins are of aesthetic and numismatic interest. I am pleased that I was once able to purchase these magnificent specimens. They are in excellent condition.
Photographing them is a pleasure. During the shooting, I used a special lens attached to the body of my smartphone.
The lighting was natural daylight, no additional lamps were used. Shooting was complicated by the mirrored surfaces of the coins.
I had to change the shooting point for a long time, choosing the most successful angle.
I hope that you will appreciate the result. How do you like the photos?
