The night was serene, calm, the moon was shining overhead and there was a breeze.
I love full moon nights, they say that those days change the vibrations of the planet, the magnetic fields and so on.
The truth is that I don't know, what I do know is that the moon is very beautiful and the mixture of moon and sea is very inspiring for me.
As you may know I also like night walks. But on this occasion after a rather long walk through narrow streets I ended up in the upper area of the catillos and from there I went to see the moon from the Paseo de la Farola.
My surprise was when I looked in different directions and not only the lights of the city in the distance and the lights of the giant cruise ships were a spectacle.
But what I liked the most was to see the palm trees in a very special way. They seemed to be wearing a sequined dress or a dress with little lights that illuminated them very delicately.
The lights came from below, from the dream, but they were arranged in such a way that each of the palm trees seemed to have its own light emanating from the inside or the trunks.
And not only did they illuminate themselves, but they generated an ambience of magic and style.
Seeing them from above made me stand closer to their tallest leaves and see them much better.
From above I could see how they formed a path of light, like luminous signs that dressed the whole place in celebration, like a great catwalk for artists and living a dream.
I don't think I was dreaming because here are the proofs, the photographs full of light and beauty.
I looked into the distance and the paths of illuminated palm trees stretched all the way to the lamppost and across to the end of the pier.
Of course they were accompanied by, what I call, the giants, who at night are also dressed in great luxury as if it were all a big film gala.
Perhaps it is a simple thing that the palm trees were illuminated in this way, but it fascinated me, it gave the sensation that they themselves had tiny lights that in daylight would be imperceptible.
In the distance I could see the castles of Alcazaba and Gibralfaro also beautifully illuminated, which created that magical atmosphere of a dreamy night.
It was 2am at the time I took the pictures and there was a beautiful mix of beauty, breeze, silence and I mean silence as opposed to hustle and bustle, calm, and lots of light.
It was a perfect moment of inspiration, imagination accompanied by those beautiful dresses made of lights and nature.
They are perfect moments that invite you to walk through spaces that during the day are full of people, open shops, cars, noises, and at that moment it was just silence and the city sleeping.
You can see much more at night, at least it happens to me, to see the beauty hidden during the day in the midst of an atmosphere of perfect harmony.
Enjoying these moments are special and full of energy. The moon has always accompanied me on my way and is always a witness of this gala.
Best wishes to all of you and see you next time.
Amonet.
