Even if the night is dark, reflections can bring light and life.
A walk, on an autumn night where it was not cold, where calm reigned and people strolled carefree.
The city is still full of tourists and waiting for the arrival of the Christmas season regulars. Cruise ships come and go and fill the city with walkers, both during the day and at night.
Of course the more touristy, more central areas always with people coming and going, people from the north to whom this climate seems warm and people from other parts where this climate seems cold. There is something for everyone.
But what they all have in common is that taste for walking the streets of the city, the night, its lights, its visual attractions and the various events that might be here and there. As well as the wide range of gastronomy that this place offers.
A very well illuminated city, so much so that many times it seems like daylight hours. Thinking and looking at the photographs taken, it is a doubly illuminated city. There are so many reflections that the light refracts on the different surfaces and generates more light.
The reflections give double life to the night and dress up the buildings for a party.
I noticed as I walked along that they are present everywhere, both in one of the main squares, with its imposing buildings, in the streets that cross it, as well as in the walks through a park or in distant streets.
When I continued my tour and moved a little further away from the central area, I could better appreciate these reflections, now without people, on the ground, the buildings, the trees. Many of the streets shone and even looked wet. Although some of them were wet because of the nightly watering that is done in the parks.
I always say that everything has to do with everything and that we are all reflected in each other.
Each of us has our own light, an inner light and the stronger it is the more it is reflected. Our light can reflect and illuminate others as the city lights do with the buildings.
We never know who we can illuminate or help in some way, and just by being the way we are, we may even be an inspiration to someone else. That inspiration is a reflection of us that can reach far and multiply.
In life there are also dark alleys, people who may want to obscure our light, our reflection. It has happened to me. And their negative energy or darkness wants us to stop shining. Like everything in life there is good and bad, light and dark, positive and negative.
Circumstances or people may want to diminish that light that we are for the world, for various reasons. But we must never stop shining because the light, the good is the majority and not only that, but it multiplies.
See how the reflections bounce and seem many more on the ground? They even seem bigger. Well, the same thing happens with our light, our reflection. It expands and multiplies and even generates a bounce effect. A light chain is created and that is the most wonderful thing.
In the distant past that has happened to me, there were people who were not very good and liked to turn off lights so that life would be dark until I learned that I have my own light and it must never stop shining, because maybe someone else will be illuminated by it. Just one person is enough.
The reflections of the city are like the reflections of our soul, may they always multiply to give more light.
Thank you all for watching and reading this far. Have a great Sunday.
