With spring just around the corner, I will share a couple pics of some poppies I grew.
Poppies are a beautiful flower, primordial in structure, ranging from hearty to delicate. They are also a very prominent and important ethnobotanical part of our history. Perhaps one day I will deep dive into the symbolism and traditions of this beautiful plant.
Today however, I will explore the four seasons and what they mean to me at this moment.
Spring: This season best represents birth, and growth. Tempo increases.
Summer: This season best represents life, and all its glory. Tempo is constant.
Fall: This season best represents the end of life, and atrophy. Tempo is declining.
Winter: this season represents the afterlife, and stillness.
Simple breakdown, but honest. I think a lot of things can probably be broken into these 4 groupings, especially anything that operates in cycles.
Thanks for reading.
