A wooden block carrying 120 Rohingya refugees is seen sitting on the hull of a ship that will soon dock at the port of krueng geukueh, Dewantara District, North Aceh Regency, Aceh Province, December 31.
The boat carrying them from the Rohingya suffered engine failure.
For one week they were stranded in the middle of the sea until finally found by traditional fishermen who were catching fish.
The Rohingya refugees who were on the boat were women and small children, their condition was very poor, their faces were pale from hunger and their bodies were cold in the pouring rain during the evacuation process.
One ethnic Rohingya got off the boat, then underwent a health check, after going through all the processes they were then asked to get into a bus that had been prepared to take them to a shelter in the city of lhokseumawe.
