Where do you think I met this wonderful girl? On the Betancourt Bridge.
Usually I drive over this bridge from the Petrograd side to Vasilievsky Island (St. Petersburg, Russia) and back. It saves a lot of time and nerves. But today I decided it was time to walk along it.
This is a relatively young bridge, in addition, it is also thrown over Petrovsky Island.
Powerful supports and shrouds keep it above the waters of the Neva. But you know... sometimes I felt the vibration of this bridge. This means that the shrouds are alive and this is an unusual feeling.
The shrouds hold the part of the bridge that passes over the water. On land, it is held by ordinary supports. It bends interestingly and generally makes a strong impression.
And besides, it offers excellent views of the city. But that's another story. Follow the news.
