I have already said that Sevastopol is located on rocky hills. You do not see a clear serpentine of streets and roads, but they are all located at different levels. Very often parallel streets can only be reached by going up the stairs. There are a lot of these stairs here.
In addition, there is another interesting phenomenon for the photographer. When the sun rises or sets, it illuminates only one side of the hill. This means that on some streets you can only catch the light in the morning or evening.
On the very first day of our visit to Sevastopol, we went for a walk. Not knowing the city, we just went where our eyes look. It was already evening and the house where we stopped was on the eastern part of the hill. This meant that he was in the shadows. From here we will start.
This is Lenin Street on which our house stands. I liked the swirling shape of the tree.
This time I decided to apply the saved settings from one of the previous posts. Only occasionally adjusting them as necessary. I liked this processing option for photos of Sevastopol. City out of time...
Looks like I'll be using this trick again and again.
These steps do not just lead to the doors of the building. They lead you to the top of the hill.
Looking back you see how high you rise. It's like cliffs you take by storm. It's good that now there is shade and there is no scorching sun.
But now we have reached the top and the picture immediately changes. Even from the photo you can feel the difference. Life has become more fun. This is a bonus for those who have read/viewed the post up to this point.
The sun is already quite low and its rays go along the earth. The more interesting is the play of shadow with light.
We gradually descend the sunny side of the hill. Needless to say, this was a lot more fun. Apparently it's all about the sun.
Oh yes, cats understand this too. I don't think they were cold during the day, but enjoy basking in the sun in the evening. Mysterious creatures.
With cats, I started the post with them and will finish. In general, I will devote a separate post to Sevastopol cats, but for now it’s time for us to say goodbye until the next meeting.
